Embroidery Designs

A friend of mine drew my attention to these beautiful elk embroidery designs at AllBrands.com - There are many ways to reach to elk, but the easiest is to type the word “Elk” in the search column right on top of the page. Among the search results, you would find Cactus Punch AN13 Deer and Elk CD. This is a multi-formatted CD, which will work with all embroidery machines as long as you have a reader writer box or have a machine that takes CDs. To know more about this, you must read PC machine embroidery designs. You could also get your pick of embroidery machines at AllBrands.com

I just came across a large pack of wheaten terrier embroidery designs, which I wanted to share with you. You cannot miss these lovely dogs. Enter SecretsOf.com (Go to “Everything for Embroidery”, click on Designs, choose Designers A-F, then choose Birdhouse Cottage and finally scroll down below for Dogs in Action or Dog Portraits - whew, that was a long journey!). What I really like in these embroidery designs is that each dog seems to express itself, just like human beings. It could be the smug look of the Bull Mastif, the shy smile of the Daxie Smooth or the calm look of the Afghan. These wheaten terrier embroidery designs are really impressive. All designs are done using machine embroidery and you can choose from art, hus, jef, pcs, pes or sew formats for any of the embroidery designs. You also have flexibility in the choice of the size, either 4 by 4 inches OR 6 by 8 inches. There is one free terrier embroidery design available for download on the above mentioned page of SecretsOf.com.

An Example of an Artista Embroidery design - The Two SealsDear Internet Friend, I have a question for you: Give me one difference between the two seals in the picture beside this post…..Give up!…..The correct answer: The one on the left is a computer drawn image, the one on the right is an artista embroidery design.

Second question: What is the relationship between the two? The answer: The seal on the right emerges once you run the Artista 4.0 embroidery digitizing software through the seal on the left.

If you want to learn about the Artista 4.0 embroidery digitizing software tutorial by Heather Snow, you must visit SecretsOf.com (Go to Everything for Embroidery, click on Tutorials and choose Bernina Artista Tutorials). The information on embroidery design software would come in handy here.

If you are a fan of dakota embroidery designs, you would not want to miss these Dakota Collectibles I came across on Amazon. The collections are categorised into various topics like the ones listed below:

The Dakota 970011 Embroidery Design Childrens CD cover is the one you see next to this post. There is another unique collectible called Dakota 970025 Embroidery Design CD Collectibles: The Gambler. This is a great CD for those interested in embroidering playing cards!

All designs come in CD-ROM format downloadable through your sewing machine software. They can be used in the following formats: art, csd, dst, exp, hus, jef, ofm, pcs, pes, sew. Various details on machine embroidery would come in handy here.

You may call it an amalgamation of the old automobile and the embroidery industry. The stylish Corvette has weaved its way into the hearts of embroidery enthusiasts over the world. One may call it old wine in new bottle! The 1958 Corvette (which you will find next to this post) is a favourite embroidered logo which finds its place comfortably on caps and T-shirts. The 1967 Corvette convertible is another sought-for-logo which is generally placed on T-shirts. On caps, the size of these logos would be approximately 3 inches wide to 2 inches tall, while on T-shirts the size would be at least 8 inches wide by 5 inches tall. The Corvette embroidered logo can be done both by machine embroidery or hand embroidery techniques.

I just came across Ms. Larisa Porter and her tutorial named “Threads That Bind Us”. The same is available at SecretsOf.com - (click on “Everything for Embroidery” — Designs — Designers G-Z — Threads That Bind Us).

Ms. Larisa Porter has had a variety of interests like singing, playing the guitar and designing web graphics. Her love for arts resulted in a fruitful embroidery business which combined her love for quilting and designing. Her biggest accomplishments stem from watching her pencil drawings turn into colorful designs as her embroidery machine stitches them out.

Just recently, Larisa devised a ‘Piece in the Hoop’ (which is part of the master tutorial “Threads That Bind Us”) with an embroidery design - Once finished, we will end up with a complete, pieced quilt block, just like the one beside this post. One can follow the very detailed, pictorial instructions to learn how to ‘Piece in your Hoop’ by using the Crazy Patch Block design included. Once mastered, try out the other ‘Piece in the Hoop’ embroidery designs given in the tutorial. Feel free to give me your comments on these!

Among the best brother embroidery machines that I have come across, one machine seems to have a cut above the rest - the Brother PQ 1500. One among the many great features that we have on the brother embroidery machine is that it can sew up to 1500 stitches per minute, which means that you can embroider much faster than with normal machines. It also has a built-in automatic needle threader which ensures that you dont have to learn to thread your needle: the machine does it for you! A third feature that the Brother embroidery machine has is an automatic underbed thread trimmer, which ensures a smooth look and feel of your embroidery design. Organ needles (which are the latest in the world of needles) come free with a purchase of this machine. In fact some reports came in over the embroidery forums that the Brother embroidery machine scores well over the Pfaff machine.

One of my cousins shared some of these beautiful mardi gras embroidery designer hats which he found at Mardi Gras Fur Hats sale. Although the particular site specializes in hats of all kinds, the cuter ones can be found at the mardi gras section. The one I liked best and made of polyester, embroidered inside in a mesh format, is displayed here. The inner embroidery lining needs to be quite strong in order to sustain the furry hat.

Mardi Gras (commonly called Fat Tuesday), incidentally is the day before Ash Wednesday and the first day of the Roman Catholic season of Lent.

The bald eagle seems to have fascinated embroidery design enthusiasts all over the world. On embroidering the eagle, I felt that weaving the eagle embroidery design can be quite a task because of the complex task of embroidering the feathers, beak and eyes. This is generally done using machine embroidery designing techniques. This design is primarily famous for its use on denim shirts, over the pocket and also for its use on T-shirts. More so, this has become popular as a patriotic design in USA. Just check these headlines I recently found on a website displaying eagle embroidery designs - These beautiful, highly detailed patriotic redwork embroidery designs patterns that will delight any patriotic history buff!

I just found some good free husqvarna embroidery designs, which I wanted to share with you. The “Chimney Sweep” has a simple yet elegant look to it. By the way, it was only recently that I found out that “Husqvarna” (which sounds Russian to me) is in fact a Swedish company founded in 1689 and its name is a spelling variant of the company’s hometown, Huskvarna.”

If you want some more Husqvarna embroidery designs, you could go to Designs By Sick. They have a good collection (one of which is next to this post) at an affordable price.
