I just came across some cute machine embroidery designs – free downloads!   Check out Embroidery Designs Shop.

The sports racing car and the jumping bear are really cute and unique.   These design patterns are readily available for download for the following embroidery machines – tajima, brother, babylock, viking,  janome, kenmore, poem, singer, husqvarna, huskygram, bernina and toyota.   These designs are also compatible with any machine that uses exp, dst, pes, pcs, hus, sew, csd, jef and xxx formats.   Quite an open source!

Hi!  I just came across this resource at “Embroidery Just For You“ which gives you some swell animal embroidery designs and all for FREE on purchase of a minimum of 25 dollars worth goods!    Most of the free machine embroidery goodies are sized lower than 3 inches width by 3 inches height.  You could use these as small appliques which could be put on your favourite shirt as a logo.   The variety is amazing and I found a few unique pieces in the bargain.   The panda, camel, bobcat and the polar bear are a few of them.  

The expressions on some of the animals like the lion cub and tiger are cute.  The white rhino and the skunk needs more detailing which could not be done primarily due to the size of the free embroidery design.

True to its name, here is some seemingly simple but dazzling Unique Embroidery. This website has a selection of close to 180 free embroidery designs and it is growing by the day. Check the leafy petalled flower, elegantly embroidered using 7438 stitches. This is sized at 5.09 by 5.09 inches and is available for free download in ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, XXX machine embroidery formats. The information on how to convert the files from PC compatible software to your embroidery machine would come in handy and you could read it at PC-Machine formats embroidery.

The second embroidery design that caught my attention is the unique necklace. Using a combination of 2 vibrant colours, the pattern is beautiful. This has 8744 stitches and is sized at 9.36 by 14.41 inches. Both the outer and inner stitches combine to form this unique pattern.

This contains good quality free machine embroidery designs. Once you register and log in to the website, you can avail of the design formats available in art, pes, hus, pcs, jef, xxx, dst, exp, shv, vip and sew formats. For more information on these formats, reach out at PC Machine embroidery formats. Most of the embroidery patterns are less than 5 inches in width and height with not more than 15 color threads which makes it quite easy to replicate. Debsews has a small but cute collection of free applique embroidery designs. The free standing lace coaster is done quite symmetrically well. FreeTommy displays one new free embroidery design every hour. Most of these designs are cross stitch and done quite beautifully. All Free Embroidery Designs displays a free design every day and has a collection of free embroideries. You could log into this resource. Here is a splendid lively resource for free machine embroidery designs. This is Deb’s Windstar Embroidery. The website has some unique categories like ‘Cute-N-Lovely’, ‘Celestials’, ‘Sayings and Phrases’ embroidery designs. There is also an ‘All Awareness’ appliques ribbon embroidery design set perfect for fund raising and charities.

I draw particular attention to the free machine embroidery designs section, which have some good designs available to you on free sign up. These designs are available in the pes, hus, jef or other formats of your choice and the same can be downloaded in a zipped file. Apart from this, the pdf-formatted design information file or color chart would give you all other details. The information on machine embroidery designs would come in handy here.

The final output can be exported to Brother(.pes), Elna(.sew), Janome(.sew), Melco(.exp), Tajima(.dst), Toyota(.10O), Barudan(.hduxx), Happy(.tap), Sunstar(.sst), Pfaff(.ksm), Juki(amsm3), Mitsubishi(,1xx), Komtekct(.cem) There is a section on free downloadable embroidery designs, where you can download samples of standard fill, advanced fill and photostitch embroideries! (You could also go to Diana portrait to see the art of photostitch hand embroidering.) The ship you see next to this post is a free standard fill embroidery design converted from a picture and is available in all machine formats.

Antonia Valentine is a classic machine embroiderer recognised by the Australian Textile Arts and Surface Design Association Inc. After exploring various categories of hand and machine embroidery designs, she finally focused on freestyle machine and digital embroidery often enhanced with hand stitches too! Her tryst with artista embroidery began right here. Her embroidery photographs manipulated on the computer were often used as inspiration in the design process.

Her works are displayed at AStitch Design. Check out the garden collection. They are beautiful especially the tulips, poinsettia and the daffodils. All of them are artista and are digitised in Bernina © Artista software. They can be downloaded as Artista v2 and Artista v3.
